Professionalism Policy

At Sara Canadian Academy (SCA), professionalism is not just an expectation but a cornerstone of our union culture and learning environment.

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of conduct, ethics, and integrity for all students, faculty, and staff. Our programs are designed to foster academic excellence and a strong sense of responsibility, respect, and accountability among our students.

Expectations for Students:
  1. Always behave respectfully toward peers, faculty, patients, and administrative staff.
  2. Maintain punctuality and attend all scheduled classes, clinical placements, and evaluations.
  3. Dress appropriately and adhere to any clinical or professional dress codes.
  4. Communicate clearly and respectfully, both in person and via digital platforms.
  5. Uphold honesty in all academic work, including examinations and assignments.
  6. Follow your program's institutional rules, regulations, and ethical codes.

Students are expected to carry forward the values instilled at SCA into their professional lives as healthcare practitioners, upholding the public's trust in them and contributing positively to the healthcare community.

SCA reserves the right to take appropriate disciplinary action in cases where professional standards are not met.
